Ok, Ok...don't feed the trolls, I know. But I love being called names by people who try to be "anonymous"...

Here's one of the many, many sources out there-the National Archive for one:
<a href="http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/treasure/declaration_facts.html" rel="nofollow">National Archives</a>

When it comes to matters where he needs a united country for a foreign crisis then I am united as a fellow American. HOWEVER, everything else is open season. He wants to socialized our economy, destroy liberty, destroy gun rights, destroy our military strength and fill our nation with politically correct garbage, raise taxes, increase regulations and etc...which means that I will fighting him and his agenda every single day for the next 4 years. I am not giving him the 'benefit of the doubt' because I know exactly, thanks to his voting record, where he is coming from and etc.

Now is the time for American Conservatives to wage political warfare against him and his radical, left-wing, socialist agenda. There is a reason why businesses are looking at moving overseas or registereing in tax friendly islands or why thousands of Americans are buying more guns. The great socialist storm is coming and it must NOT be met with embrace.

I didn't vote because of my disdain for either politician (or lack thereof). I didn't vote for much deeper, and more personal reasons. As I explore my citizenship in the Kingdom of God, I become less interested in the political system that I am involved in. I am not saying that Christians shouldn't vote. I am saying that I am at a stage where I am struggling with the tension between an American citizen and a Christian.

Think about this for a second: would Christ encourage you to vote? And don't pull the 'give to what is Ceasar' line. That's talking about taxes, not voting. In reality, Christ encouraged his disciples to meet the needs of those around them, to love on people, to be aliens in this world. As this reality paramounts in my own life, I am more convinced that my vote doesn't matter. In fact, any political system that I live in, from Communism to Democracy, is secondary to my nature in the Kingdom of God as a Christian.

So I didn't vote this year. I am too torn to make an honest decision.
